Where does the travel information come from?
OVnl uses official open data files from the NDOV Loket and real-time transit information via the NS API. We don't invent the times ourselves; we simply display the raw data on your screen as fast as possible.
My bus was late, or the app showed incorrect information. Now what?
Unfortunately, we have no control over the actual schedules or transit operations. If an operator doesn't report a delay properly or in time in their own system, the app won't know about it either.
Why don't I see De Lijn (Belgium) or other foreign operators?
OVnl is exclusively built for Dutch public transport. Foreign operators are not supported.

Privacy Policy

OVnl is designed with maximum privacy in mind. We do not have our own servers tracking your travel behavior. Your saved routes and favorite stops are stored exclusively locally on your own device. We do not create user profiles and we do not sell data to third parties.

Data sources and third-party services: For schedules and transit stops, the app uses open data files from the NDOV Loket. Furthermore, the app communicates live with two external online services. To retrieve real-time departure times and delays, the official NS API is used. Additionally, we use OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) for location and address searches. When you search for a location, your specific search query is sent to their servers to retrieve the necessary coordinates. No other data is sent to external APIs.
